My first FF off the stands was #105; a Romita -- I remember the cover but not much else. My first exposure to the FF was Saturday morning cartoons and Marvel's Greatest Comics. I thought Kirby's art was too cartoony compared to Buscema's FF (before an older co-worker gifted me a box of back issues circa #45-85!). I know some reviews of this era say the plots were retreads, but Sue recruiting Doom as an ally in #116 against the Overmind was an original twist, if not a memorable shock.
