Of course Jack would have done a knock out Hulk/Thing battle - perhaps not "better" than John B., but equally as good. A reasonable example of this would be the Subby/Iron Man battle in ASTONISH. Gene C. did a fine job on the first two pages, but Jack had to finish it. Now I loved Gene's IM and SM, but the battle comes to life when you turn the page and get those amazing Kirby pencils!
