I was a fan of this show, and I would say I've seen most of the episodes from all 5 seasons. All you have to say is "parallel universe" and I'm on board. It's one of my favorite sci-fi concepts. That said, I can't help but think about how much better this show could have been had it come out now. CGI is so much better and cheaper, and it seems like sci-fi shows these days are generally much better received and have bigger budgets and production values. One of the problems I always had with Sliders was that many of the episodes just seemed too similar. Similar types of worlds with similar types of things happening to the cast. I think the writers were really limited by whatever meager budget the show had to work with. Still, I enjoyed the show for what it was back then. Also, those of you that didn't catch the Sci-Fi Channel seasons didn't really miss that much. Rembrandt was the only original character that stayed for the last two seasons, and it just wasn't quite the same without Quinn and Arturo.
