Cook also seems to have the perfect attitude towards the whole thing as well. When asked how it felt to win, he commented that although it is a springboard into the music business, everything that happens from here on out to him or any of the other contestants is basically a crap shoot. Very mature outlook for a 25 year old kid. I hope the business and the fame doesn't change him as a person like some people feel it has changed Chris Daughtry (from what I have read).

By the way, did anybody read that Taylor Hicks has signed on to play "Teen Angel" in GREASE on Broadway? Having seen the show, I think that seems like a good role for him. Hopefully, he is also planning on recording a follow up CD to his major label debut (on another label of course, since he broke with 19). I still feel that his debut CD was the best thing Idol has yet produced. I listen to it quite a lot!
