You guys forget I lived and worked in Hollywood. There, she would be considered chubby simply because there is a little bit of cellulite showing in her tummy and legs. Don't get mad at me; in Hollywood, that's just the way it is. She's really not that young either, to play Supergirl. She's probably in her late 20s. Again, not a judgment, just an informed observation. And the whole point of my post is not that she's fat or skinny or too old. The point was that--who the hell does she think she is, dressing as a trademarked national icon, making movies as that character and trying to sell them over the web? I don't see why that should be legal. In fact, it is not. If DC shuts her down, I have no sympathy for her. It's not right.

So...if some guy won't sleep with his wife, is it okay for another guy to do so? I don't understand that point of view. What's she doing is, in my view, stealing from DC. I will defend DC because they have always done a good job with the characters I love. They have given me no reason to @$#+$ over the years. I don't, for a minute, view this woman as saying, "oh you know--DC never puts out any good Supergirl movies. I think I'll make one and show them up." No. The reason she's doing is because she sees the (hopefully limited) market for superhero kink; that is, guys who get off seeing some chesty chick writhing around in spandex. I've seen stuff like that going on at comics conventions; she's no different. I wouldn't have a problem with it if she'd made up an original character. God bless her, then. But she choose to steal Supergirl from DC Comics and Warner Bros., which is in my mind. felonious. And now she's stealing Superboy to boot. DC has never portrayed those characters as risque camp. Why does she get to?
