This was a page that Marvel had no access to at all. It would have definitely been included had it been located in time.

We just this past month published FANTASTIC FOUR: THE LOST ADVENTURE, reassembling Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's final, unfinished issue of FF working from all of the pieces that existed. We thought we had everything available, and still had to call upon Ron Frenz to fill in with a page or so's worth of art.

Well, no sooner does the book go on sale than a fan sends Jack Kirby Collector publisher the attached scan of a page he'd seen some months earlier up for auction on Ebay--the one remaining complete page that we were lacking! Aargh!

I expect that John will be able to track the buyer down and run a much better copyof the page in an upcoming issue of his magazine. But this also means that I'm never going to be able to look at the published FF:TLA quite the same way again--it's always going to feel incomplete to me.
