Let me say a few words about Ramiele, if I may.
Taking into consideration that this is a singing competition, she has without a doubt, the best vocal talent of any of the competitors. David A. and Brooke may be close. But if you were sitting in a dark room with headphones on and you couldn't see what the singer was doing, Ramiele would blow the rest of them away.
So what's with this fascination with how they move around on stage while they sing? Chikeze did it very effectively and it helped him. David H. did it, heck he even went out into the crowd, and it sucked. It didn't help him at all and he got booted. Brooke sat at a piano and gave a stellar performance. So who cares if Ramiele is "boring?" I don't believe for one minute that she is, but that's the knock against her. She has an incredibly clear, enchanting voice; why should she have to juggle and ride a umicycle when she sings?
She's the whole package. 1) Incredible voice. 2) Pleasant personality. 3) Cut as a button. The teeny bopper boys will eat her up, as will lecherous old farts like me.
She's incredibly young. She can be taught the nuances of presentation while singing on stage. But you can't teach talent. Which she has by the boxcar load. As she gains confidence and experience, her presentation will improve and mature. Look at David A., another very young competitor. He completely fell apart Tuesday. I counted 3 different places where he forgot the lyrics. But it didn't hurt him at all. Why? Because, like Ramiele, he's the total package. Great voice. Great personality. Good looks. Does anybody knock him for being boring? All he does is stand there when he sings.
Contrast her with Carly. Carly has already had an entire career as a recording artist that flopped and now she's trying for a seconf career as a recording artist. But despite Simon's fawning all over her, I don't think she'll make it. Why? because she lacks the level of talent that Ramiele has. It can't be taught. You have to be born with it. No matter how hard Carly tries, she'll never be a big time recording artist. She's just not that good.
Trust me on this one. No matter where Ramiele finishes in the competition, she will have a very successful career as a recording artist.
