Actually I think the judges were just being honest with Ramiele. "In My Life" is a brilliant song...honest, sincere, heartfelt, reflective, bittersweet, unforgettable melody. I didn't think Ramiele brought out any of the remarkable qualities that make that song one of the enduring classics of any era. She sounded like she was singing it at a school recital. It was slowed down to a snail's pace and completely uninspired. When John Lennon sang it, the song sounded full of passion. Ramiele should have listened more carefully to the original recording and paid attention to what makes the song magic. Brooke knew to do that and it really paid off for her. Maybe this is just a "live and learn" week for Ramiele...that is, if she has the maturity to approach it that way.
