Best performance of the night, Brooke White. She's talented, entertaining and just plain fun to watch. Ramiele Malubay, despite a poor song choice and a lackluster performance (for her), still had the second best performance of the night, which proves just how good she is. She'll need to bring her "A" game, though, if she wants to win this competition. Carly Smithson also had a good night, although I still don't think she's as good as the judges try to make her out to be.

Worst performance of the night was Amanda Overmyer. I really like her and want her to do well, but her vocals were abysmal. I'll be stunned if she isn't sent packing Thursday. Second worst performance, sadly, was Kady Malloy. I say sadly because she is truly a very talented and multi-talented singer; she just can't seem to be able to put it together when it counts.

Two others that I really want to like and have do well are Kristy Lee Cook and Alaina Whitaker, but neither seems to be able to get it done.

Syesha Mercado, Asia'h Epperson and Alexandrea Lushington all gave adequate, if unmemorable, performances.

I can't see Amanda surviving, although I really hope Kady makes it through. I just can't imagine who would get sent home ahead of her. I can't help but feel that Kady could really be amazing if she could just figure it out. Unfortunately, I don't think she'll get the chance.
