Good ranking, although personally I enjoyed David Cook's "Happy Together" more than you did. I would have put him in the #5 slot this week.

Although Archuleta has been good, the main problem I have with him (as with Melinda Doolittle last year) is that non-stop, good natured, wide eyed humility..."Who, me? You mean, you think I'm good? Oh my, this is so exciting! What will I ever do with myself!" -- At this point, the contents of my stomach start to bubble up and I feel the vomit coming. A little...LITTLE...humility can be endearing and charming, but a contestant on this show has to display some sort of attitude that he or she knows they are good and worthy of being up there. This can be done without being cocky or arrogant, as many have done very well before (Taylor Hicks, Chris Daughtry, Elliot Yamin, etc.). I know Archuleta is 17, but I think that's old enough to be able to start acting like a guy who knows he's going to be a force to be reckoned with in this competition. The puppy dog humility is going to get old really fast and the "little girl" vote can take you a good way through but cannot propel you to the final by itself.
