You have, quite a few times, raised the stakes. Here's my rejoinder. Also, I'm serious. It's a strong anthology. 1- Action Comics #1 (DC 1938) 2-Winter Soldier:Winter Kills #1 (Marvel 2006) 3-The Maxx by Sam Keith #1 (Image 1993) 4-...

I was so impacted by the sensuality in Bolton's art in that story. He strikes a great balance of vulnerability and strength in the art. One of my favorite stories in that series.

What great idea! I'm going to add the first issue of Love and Rockets I ever read. There were better issues, but this one had a huge impact on me as a 16 year old in the 80s. 1. Action Comics 1 (DC 1938) 2. Winter Soldier: Winter Kills...

Luke Cage arrived today from ToW. It's a nice looking book, which of course is no surprise. I've only read these in the Essential previously, and am looking forward to getting into it after work. The Englehart intro touches on some...

Glad they are including his New Talent Showcase story. It's got little in common with his later work, but is still an interesting artifact. Edit: read the solicit.
