I'm officially more excited for the Deadly Hands volumes than the MoKF. I love the black and white magazines, but have not had the resources to dive into this series. They are tough to find in the first place, and are a little more...

Re: New Teen Titans Omnibus Question (reply)
The Baxter paper direct market only series had full-bleed art. It was considered a design/art benefit at the time as comics migrated away from newsprint.

Re: Spider-man Omnibus (Todd McFarlane) 2016 (reply)
It's a tempting volume. I picked up the PHC volumes a few years ago, and found them fun if poorly written. The run reads like a really energetic but misguided B-movie. Trashy good times. It really doesn't make sense to upgrade, but this...

Re: List your Top 5 Comics -- 2010-15 (reply)
Love and Rockets 3 and 4: Jaime's Love Bunglers was devastating and brilliant in execution. The best of the best. Hawkeye by Fraction and Aja. Genius. Superior Spider-Man by Slott and friends. The best Spidey I had read since forever....

Re: Print Comics vs Digital Comics: Pros and cons... (reply)
Interesting points, although ones that personally have never impacted my ability to enjoy digital comics in the 5 years since an appropriately designed device was released on which to read them. I'm a tech professional as well, and can...

Re: iPad Pro Review and Babbling (reply)
Picked up my iPad Pro Saturday night, and have to say I am in love with it. Went ahead and subscribed to Marvel Unlimited. It's improved enormously since I had a subscription in 2008/9. I compared some pages form the Priest Black Panther...

The Star Wars Artifact Edition. With two viewings of the Force Awakens behind me, the timing on this couldn't be better if it had actually come out on time.

Re: How do YOU say "Dormammu"? (reply)
I was probably 6 or 7 when I read Dormammu's first appearance in Bring On The Bad Guys in the 70s. I pronounced it Door-ma-moo from the start, but sometimes schwa it up a little. The difference is pretty subtle.

I picked up Grab-Bag 1, Treasury Edition 8, and Superman/Spider-Man in the last few months. They are all a lot of fun. MTE 8 is one of the very few Hero for Hire reprints pre-Essentials, if not the only one. Superman vs Spider-Man was...

Re: Pre Ordering question (reply)
I've been pre-ordering from ToW for about 5 years. They bill at shipping. This has only ever been a concern when something has a roving release date. I'd suggest using a CC instead of a debit card if possible. I generally see packages...

Re: When did you quit regular monthy comics? (reply)
I think it was in 2009. Could see digital coming and generally had moved to trade only for the most part. The last floppy I bought for years that was not a back issue was Morrison/Quitely's Batman and Robin #1. Recently I bought the...
