My copy from Amazon ($20, thank you very much) arrived Wednesday and I'm about a third into it/ Reading it in printed order, and not skipping around. I'm enjoying it, and it is certainly worth every penny. The different worlds are fun,...

Re: Night Nurse !! (reply)
Night Nurse was one of my motivations to get the Women of Marvel Omni ($38!) on sale a few years ago. It's a fun little series with some nice art. I'm glad to see they are making it more accessible via TPB.

Re: Omnibus New Printings ? (reply)
My list is pretty much the same as it's been since 2009. Tomb of Dracula 1 Eternals I can see someday getting the Eternals book on Ebay, as it tends to show up in the low-$100 range. There si no way I'm forking over $250+ for ToD though.

Re: What are you reading?  (reply)
Dove into the Spider-Verse pseudo-Omnibus last night. I took a break from Slott's run immediately before this story, so it is nice to get back into the swing of his run. A very fun story so far based on the first 5 or so issues. I lucked...

Re: Artist Editions Discussion thread (IDW, Dark Horse, etc) (reply)
My New Gods volume arrived today, and I couldn't be more impressed. A truly gorgeous book with some of my favorite Kirby stories ever. I can definitely see picking up a few more volumes in the months ahead.

Re: Artist Editions Discussion thread (IDW, Dark Horse, etc) (reply)
Unexpectedly, the Trimpe volume finally resulted in my first Artist Edition purchases. He was never my favorite artist, but I've grown to develop a real love for his work in recent years and am really excited to see his Hulk work in the...

Re: What was your first Omnibus, and why did you pick it up? (reply)
Alias. I was really in love with the series, and loved the idea of the deluxe format containing an entire run of a series. I guess my second was Amazing Fantasy which I got with store credit when I started purging my periodicals. Love...

Re: A Difficult Decision... (reply)
In this case.. man. All Star Squadron was my first DC 1st issue. I was just starting to dabble with DC, and had only read DCCP, Flash, and Teen Titans with any regularity. I only stuck with the series for 2 issues, probably due to spotty...

Re: THE FANTASTIC FOUR OMNIBUS VOL. 3 HC (reply)
Personally, I am looking forward to this volume. My only concern is that I marked it to ship with the Hawkeye Omnibus which has been pushed back to September. It's going to be a little bit before I can discuss the book.

Man, if you didn't love 16 I'm not sure how you made it through the Chuck Austin issues. Gaiman's run is ok, but not great. Some cool ideas, but it felt unnecessary. I only read the first 4 issues back when it was coming out. Maybe it...
