Re: Issues that made your binding plans difficult? (reply)
Edit Note - I mistook this thread title as content not fitting in with other content... not issues that are hard to find. Oh well... Currently going through it with the World War Hulk mini. I'm planning for a Bendis era Avengers run and...

Re: Captain Marvel - Genis, skrull and Noh-var (reply)
I can't speak on Genis, but the above Volume 4 has a slight hiccup I think. If I'm not mistaken, I think Young Avengers Presents 2 comes either during Reed's Captain Marvel series or after it. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure...

Re: So I need some TPB Binding advice (reply)
Nah, I don't have any interest in the actual cover to the trade. I'm cool with the interior paged covers. I like that actually because the New 52 tpbs include the image of covers and credits for the creative team without the actual issue...

Re: So I need some TPB Binding advice (reply)
Unfortunately, I had to sell all my old comic books and binds for financial reasons, so I won't be binding comics any more anyway. I started going the trade route over the past couple years but really hate pulling out various volumes to...

So I need some TPB Binding advice (topic)
Okay, so I could really use some advice from anyone who's bound volumes using only trades (no floppies). I want to bind various New 52 books chronologically (like Batman books and Justice League books), but I have no idea how thick is...

Re: REL's Binds (reply)
My opinion on Dark Reign: It actually is a good read through if you trim a LOT of the fat. Figure out which aspect of the overarching plot you want to focus on and do that. I would personally go the route of focusing on Norman Osborn and...

Re: Batman Inc Mapping Question. (reply)
Most of the Requiem issues were more focused on their individual books, but the Batman and Robin Requiem issue was beautiful and would be great alongside Morrison's Inc. run.

Re: The Spectre: Post-Crisis to Flashpoint (reply)
If you do the two volume set with Allen, there's a decent lead-in to Green Lantern 50-51. It's the Phantom Stranger Blackest Night issue.

Re: New 52 Binding Question (reply)
In my opinion, I think Batwoman would fit better in the Tales of Gotham series. She isn't one of the Bat-Family as much as another Bat-themed character in Gotham. She's less a part of Bruce's family than Catwoman or Red Hood. If I were...

Re: New 52 Binding Question (reply)
Crap. Just realized that the Dark Knight 16-21 has Penguin in it, who should still be in Arkham following Death of the Family until the next arc of Detective Comics when he's released. So that'll have to move back some. Darn. I liked the...

Re: New 52 Binding Question (reply)
So I started messing with the Death of the Family volume and came up with a few things that could make parts of it work. First off though, I forgot the dream issue of Batman and Robin (17). So I added that in there. Also, I realized that...

Re: New 52 Binding Question (reply)
So I'm doing a similar project (or at least I'm dreaming about it) binding Batman using the trades. I did some read-thrus as well, but a site that has really helped me place these things is CANONOLOGY.NET. It's a little wonky trying to...

Binding New 52 tpbs (topic)
I had bound a bunch of comics a few years ago but had to sell them. I've been rebuilding my collection through trades and am considering binding my New 52 Batman titles together, but I noticed that in trades the text is often very close...

Re: The New 52 Maps  (reply)
I think two specific Villains Month issues fit in well with a Justice League bind leading into Forever Evil. The primary one would be the Lex Luthor issue. It serves as a decent segue from Trinity War part 6 to Forever Evil 1 since Lex...

Re: Herring and Robinson Bookbinders, San Francisco  (reply)
This is actually a good question. After some recent hardships, I've had to sell my entire comics collection. I've recently begun buying some of it back in trade form and am considering binding trades but have never done so. I was curious...
