Re: Binding Titan's NA's Batman trades. (reply)
The Titan reprints omit Brave and the Bold 80 (which you could scavenge from a Showcase volume in B&W) and Batman 245.

Image put out these same books about 15 years ago. They're still floating around if you look.

Re: The Alien Worlds and Twisted Tales of Pacific & Eclipse (reply)
That is some gorgeous Colan/Janson art especially, as you said, the color choices. The boulder/rock face on page 2, panel 1 just jumps out at me. It's odd what smaller thing stick out. I'm going to have to dig out my old Eclipse...

Re: Superman: The Man of Steel Volume 9 cancelled? (reply)
It would be nice if they included Metropolis 900 Miles in this last volume since it was skipped in volume 5.

Re: Strange Daze: All Kinds of Comix Craziness (reply)
Regarding Mister Midnight, he was to be in the second issue of Galaxia Magazine (1st ish in 1981) but it never materialized. I always wanted to like Red Circle books more than I did. Great covers with disappointing stories inside....

Wow. Did Harry just force himself on Della? Hard to believe this could have been published even in the 70s.

Re: Hannibal Concludes! (reply)
Season one was intriguing but it was too much of a celebration of depravity as art. Season two just descended into psychobabble, and I was really surprised that reviewers didn't call out the writers for that. At some point, Crawford or...

Re: Mobius: Arzarch and related stories (reply)
Wow. I didn't realize the old Epic trades had become so sought after. Most were pretty easy to come by in the late 90s - early 00s with the exception of Stel. That one took awhile. Some of my Blueberrys are Comcat editions which are...

Re: Thinking of selling everything (reply)
I hear ya. I can't tell you the last time I've pulled a book to read short of the a little stack of favorites in my nightstand. I think I could get by on a shortbox of Toth, a longbox of Byrne, and a longbox of misc. What was once the...

Re: Binding without damaging comics?  (reply)
As Yoda said to Luke, "Do or do not."http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=32161&cat=1,43326,51918&ap=2 You could put yer funny books on these in a binder and still be able to read them without damage.

Re: Zorro by Alex Thot .tpb and HC question (reply)
I wouldn't read too much into the Complete or Classic in the titles. The HC contains the two softcovers, and both reprint Toth's twelve issues of Zorro. The only other Zorro Toth had published outside of the twelve Dell issues were the...

I was lucky enough to find that softcover ACG collection of Willy Schultz back in the 90s. That was a hard one to get.

Speaking as someone who grew up about 45 miles from this, I'm reminded of what my college history professor once said. "These fundamentalists have it wrong if you are going to interpret every word in the Bible literally. The Bible says...
