I don't know what to say, no excuses given...

Todd Mac is an odd one. I was a teen in the early 90s and him, Jim Lee and Whilce Portacio were a big part of my comic buying then. Never really bought into Spawn but I had the run of Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man with Todd doing the writing, pencils and inks etc. At the time the hype probably got to me (just as it did when I bought all of those Xmen 1 covers or two copies of Supes 75...one to read, one to keep bagged etc). Looking back it was a dark time for comics but it's a part of my history with the medium. I know Kirby FF is a bigger part of comics history but it's not really a part of mine.
The Spawn book might be cool, it might be lousy but it is a testament of my teen years spent travelling to London via train to track down cool, new books by publishers other than Marvel or DC that were not available in my local book shop that sold a handful of monthly comic books.

Wow, nice deal! Where from? I purchased that one a little ways back and it's beauty. In my backlog of 'to read' books, but looking forward to it.

As a Starstruck fan since the mid-80's (and patient Kickstarter backer #7), I have high hopes for this one.
Looks like Elaine Lee has also managed to get her hands on an advance copy:
