I've resigned myself to being 5-8 years behind the hardcovers for good but we are starting to enter the Atlas era with the softcovers which is very exciting!

I still buy hardcovers of Sgt. Fury and will buy Strange Tales and Journey Into Mystery when they reach the Lee/Kirby/Ditko era. I kept my hardcovers of books that wouldn't be in softcover or Omnibus form for years to come(Avengers 7-10, Spider-Man 11-13, Thor 7-9, Nick Fury 1-3, Ant-Man 1 & 2, Sub-Mariner 2-4, Daredevil 4-6, Human Torch 1 & 2, Rawhide Kid 1. I, also, buy the painted covers as a number of these are beautifully done.

I was about to buy all of the Uncanny X-Men volumes as softcovers but since the Uncanny X-Men Omnibus vol. 1 is coming back into print this spring, I'll go with that.
