Thread title sez it all. The site map here has a breakdown for 3 more volumes: #2 at 249, #3 at 223, and #4 at 183 (pages). That adds
up to 655 pages, boys and girls. I submit a better breakdown would be to have the series finish with just 2 more volumes. If Volume #2 included issue #9 (59
pages & cover), it would come to 309 pages, leaving the final/3rd volume at 346 pages (less than Deathlok's 352). Of course, this rough estimate
assumes the accuracy of the site maps, and might be adjusted slightly for forwards, bios, etc. The point is that it could easily be done -and would be far
preferable in my estimation. You could also do basically the same thing and have Volume #2 have issue 10 as well, in which case the next two volumes would
have 363 pages and 296 pages. I like the first option better, as the page counts would be closer between the two volumes, and also within "established
precedent". What do the rest of you think? If ya likes the idea, folks, please say so, because if enough of us agree and it catches Cory's or
Gormuu's eye(s), perhaps the idea might become reality. It sure seems like a good idea to me... having two fatter volumes, with the next being the
next-to-last is a big step from waiting (another 2-3 years) for a skinny 4th volume to finish the series...
P.S. I also like the idea of the trio of titles -Daring, Mystic, and USA- EACH having 3 total Masterworks. 3 interesting and historically important short lines.
