so as it turns out, the astonishing xmen omnibus is real. i wonder if there will be any new material in this or just a repackaging of the 2 OHC's? from the
solicit, it seems to be the latter.

compromise on the girl."

Yay! I've been waiting for an official release statement on Essential Dr Strange Vol 4 ! and FINALY... Essential Thor Vol 4 !! This is the first I've
even heard of this book. I was hoping it would go through Thor #193, but it goes to #195 ! Awesome! Toss in Warlock Masterworks Vol 2 and it's a great
month (for me anyways!)

I keep trying Newsarama, but although they say that they have the solicits up, they are still showing the preview. What a pain, between that and the yuku
maintainence I am "slightly annoyed".

Also, the Golden Age Marvel Comics Omnibus is coming out in September, right? And I have yet to see a release date for Astonishing X-Men Omnibus. So, what info are you getting from the link above that I am not??? Alan The Insane!!!

Some great books coming out.
Very excited about the Hercules Premiere Edition - I have always wanted to read this and I think this will be fun. 18 issues of X-Men the End in one volume sounds very cool too. I like these fat trades. Also nice to see Ant-Man collected all in one volume. I may need to pick that up too. I would have liked the Sinister Six book to also include the Adjectiveless issues as well. A nice 11 issue hard cover would have been fun. |

we should tally up a list of all the marvel classic tpb's. It seems like marvel has been cranking out a lot of new series without bringing out successive
trades to fill in. Besides Wolverine and New Mutants off the top of my head I cant think of any that are far down the road.

Is there some logical reason why the Full Circle GN isn't included in the Hercules HC, to complete Layton's Herc? Was it out of continuity or
something?

I love Gruenwald and all, but..."Fighting Chance"? Really?
At least they could've picked the #332-350 storyline. |
