That would be a collection! Are people really excited about MAGIK and KITTY PRYDE/WOLVERINE? I haven't read those series since they first came out, but I remember them (excuse my slang) sucking. Oh, and wouldn't have made sense for MAGIK to include the X-Men issue where they fight with Belasco the first time?

I see stuff like Nightcrawler, Fallen Angels, and Iceman as perfect complements to Uncanny X-Men Masterworks. They'll allow us to read those stories and at the same time give Cory the chance to create maps for the Uncanny MMs that don't get leaden down with trying to shoehorn all that stuff in. (I'd still like to see X-Men/Alpha Flight in Masterworks because I think it's more integral to the narrative in UXM than some others.) Both Hercules LS in a single MPE Classic would kick major butt. And I'm sorry but an MPE Classic of Machine Man by Windsor-Smith and Trimpe would be the book of the millenium! This forum has a website! Posts: 539 (12/17/08 1:31 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite	the 12 issue Vision & Scarlet Witch maxi-series was a follow-up to the 4 issue mini-series that came out a little over a year before the 12 issue series. The 4 issue series was reprinted (with gorgeous art) but the 12 issue (which chronicles a year of house-hold life for the couple, Crystal's infidelity, and, oh, yeah, Wanda giving birth somehow) has not been reprinted. IMO the art isn't as good, and I recall being less impressed with the story (hey, I was a gay teenager; what did I care about domestic life?). patrick

I remember liking both VSH limited series, but I haven't read them since they came out, and I'm sure my standards were low at the time.

But then, John Byrne apparently hated this storyline so much that he made his own storyline totally repudiating everything that had happened therein. I don't know if Marvel will ever reprint it since it's kind of out-of-date, continuity-wise. However, those twins are back alive and looking for Momma...

Posts: 234 (12/18/08 8:51 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite	First off, stories that have already been collected like the aforementioned Scarlet Witch/Vision 4 issue mini and the Balder series (in the Thor Visionaries) in nice, glossy paper I would not buy! Ones that have been collected but I'd love to see on the nice shiny stuff, like Hercules, Firestar, Machine Man etc. I'd buy but I'd rather not, so I hope they don't tempt me like they did with Longshot recently and forthcoming Hawkeye (at least it has 4 other stories.) But, I'd LOVE to see that Cockrum Nightcrawler and my favorite Xmen Iceman get a collection. Combine 'em would be better! As I've always been relationship oriented, this was one gay teenager (at the time) who LOVED anything Scarlet Witch/Vision and I'd buy that 12 issue maxi-series in a heartbeat! But, that should be a softcover for sure. It's got a couple fun issues most of it's only so-so! Only one issues has been reprinted to date. Can't remember if it was in the one of the Women of Marvel tpb's or what... Oh and Jack of Hearts is a must! And I'd love to see Fallen Angels and the Vs. series combined! (Even IF the ff vs. xmen have already been collected!) And while I have nothing against Rocket Racoon it's already in the Annihilation Classic oversized HC. And oversized trumps a PHC ANYDAY! Actually, I'd love to see the Hercules two mini-series (and maybe graphic novel?) into one oversized HC! Come on Marvel, Hercule's regular series is hot right now! Strike now while you have a chance!

Marvel premiere #26, 20 pages, Marvel comics presents issues 12,39, 40,41, total 32 pages Grand total 338 pages, mini Omnibus any one?

Either that or ovesized hardcover, but this way seems more likely. And with the $100 they want for Secret Wars I'm souring a bit on older material in OHC. $35 or even $50 is one thing, but $100 is just too much. So bring on the Classics. And Squadron Supreme is at the top of my list as far as Marvel limited series from the '80s goes. I'd pick up Nightcrawler and Jack of Hearts and of course Machine Man. And The Falcon.
