More specifically, if, say for example the Spider-Man Masterworks, once it got to that point, began integrating in story chronology ASM with Marvel Team up and then eventually Spectacular and Web, or would you prefer four separate series? Same with X-Men, once the Essentials gets to Uncanny issue 280 (Which it inevitably will within the next few volumes), do you want it to then continue with X-Men no. 1-7 before getting to Uncanny 281 or do you want to see just Uncanny issues?
Me, I'm in love with the characters, and I'm a completest, so I'd love to see a complete, storyline-chronological telling of the story. The "Essential" series in the case of the X-Men has done a pretty descent job so far of including pertinent mini-series and annuals in mostly storyline order (except annual 10 and the omission of the X-Men/Avengers Mini) so I would like to see the two books integrated ... and there is a distinct chronology, which usually follows Wolverine or Xavier, because they can't be in two places at once, after all.
Forgetting Marvel Team-Up for a sec, my DREAM would be to see ASM, SSM and Web be included in chronological order in Spider-Man essentials or masterworks, but since SSM has it's own essentials right now I know the chances are slim. But a boy can dream.
What do you think?
