me post some comments regarding some recent blogs.


Just to be clear, my name is Michael Kelleher. I am a freelance artist that does a lot of work for the Marvel Masterworks line of reprints.

I can speak with 100% accuracy on many of the attacks,
untruths and misinformation being spread around regarding Masterworks art restoration because I am directly involved with the process.

Once you get the line art into a reasonable decolored state, you layer the image over the original color scan so that the corrections are as close to the
original as possible (Since one file is just a processed version of the other, they lay exactly on top of each other).  At 1200 dpi -- or even 600 -- you are
talking about microscopic edits when viewed at actual print... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Those Cap pages look nice on a computer monitor, but we have no idea what they would look like printed on paper. The computer monitor is very forgiving
compared to printed output - particularly on glossy stock.
